Mary's review of The Pillars of the Earth
The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
I really enjoyed this book. The back and forth action between the times when things were going well and then the crises that occured kept me riveted to the book. I had to take little breaks because sometimes the tension was too much. You get very into the characters and I love that about a book. I had to keep it 3 days after it was due to the library, but it was worth the read.
