** spoiler alert ** I know this book is part of the "chick lit" genre, a phrase I really hate. But this fell short even of the traditional chick lit requirements. Okay, it had all of the required events (girl likes boy, they come together in a semi-plausible circumstance, they fall in bed, they fall in love, they have a conflict, they make up and live happily ever after), but this book made it all too easy. The fall in bed, the morning after isn't awkward and they confess their feelings for each other almost immediately. The conflict is that someone else kisses her and he walks in. They make up immediately, but he has to go somewhere, he comes back and boom! Happy ever after. No, this was way too easy. Not even interesting conflict. No.
