It's super rich with factoids about the history of television, the history of comedy and television, the revolution of comedy fit to the television as we know it today, the comics who made it all happen, the beaurocracy that goes into producing a television show like this, and how you'd get into a business like television, or comedy, and how to manage yourself as a performer in the business. It's also an easy read if you know some of the names that went along with the early Saturday Night Live episodes and it's fun to hear their stories.
