I had heard a lot about "The Catcher in the Rye", apparently it was some kind of coming of age story. So I read it. I thought it was really good because I think Holden is kinda weird and yet I like him. Even though he is kind of annoying because he thinks every goddamn thing is depressing, I still end up being able to identify myself with him. I like the way it is written too, because even though some of the things make it clear it's from the fifties, the language in it could (almost) be that of today. But the reason I really like it as much as I do, is probably because I used it for this giant assignment we have at school, so I had to really analyse it, and I actually think that made it even better.
