Not just any woman can become a member of prestigious Uppity Women Book Club. But Aurora Teagarden’s stepsister-in-law Poppy Queensland climbed her way to the top of the waiting list, but tragically is killed on the day she is to be inducted into the group.

Soon after the rumors start to fly all over town about not only Poppy’s infidelities but those of her husband John David, in order to find the killer Roe must separate fact from fiction.

I stumbled upon the Teagarden series by pure accident at my local Wal-Mart and I have been hooked them every since. I have not completed the entire series, but I don’t think that is necessary to enjoy these book. I keep coming back to them for the simple fact that I really Roe, she is blunt, smart, quick-witted, and has a passion for reading that I can really appreciate. I highly recommend this series to cozy fans and look forward to more from Roe Teagarden.
