The plot against the K'da really starts to become clear in this book as loose ends are connected to each other and the stakes in the race against time just keep climbing.
Alison Kayna reappears and begins to play a major role, which is way cool. Her secretive and sinister character is an appropriate backdrop to Jack's thief-turning-honest outlook and Draycos's awesome poetwarrior ethic.
