Read from September 08 to 09, 2011

Alfreida Cooper was depressed and living a life of secrets. But she did not care. The one thing she was scared of was losing her daughter, Zen. Zen was special. She was smart, independent, honest and free. When Zen discovers her mother's secret her life is turned upside down.

Mrs. Menchan does a wonderful job capturing the voice of Zen. The story was engaging and keep you interested until the end. I can't wait to read the next installment. I highly recommend this book for teens and adults.
