3 1/4 stars. A little extra b/c it is so well written. To see the reasons for my low rating, check this great review: UM Dhestiny's Review. I could almost say "Ditto"!

I have to admit I wasn't real taken with this series, especially the first book. Although it may have something to do with reading it straight after 'Outlander' by Diana Gabaldon.

I agree, Jill. I wasn't too thrilled. Did you read UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* review? UM Dhestiny's ReviewI agreed with a lot of what she said. I should just say: "Ditto."
No, I hadn't read her review before. But just did then. And she's spot-on. Could not stand the h! But the H was hot. I also gave it 2.5 stars but downgraded mine to 2 stars. And I feel an affinity with UM - I HAVE to read books in order. Even if they are stand-alones. It drives me nuts sometimes!
Yeah, I slip up every now and then b/c I don't know a book is part of a series. Found that out with Elizabeth Hoyt's The Legend of the Four Soldiers Series and had to hold off reading them. (Though they, for once, clearly say on the front of the book they're part of a series.) Finally, recently, ordered the missing two and put all four of them in a challenge for Spring.
