I definitely believe Brad Thor's experience working within the deeper levels of government gives a higher degree of plausibility and credibility to the stories he weaves. This is the latest novel written by the author and the first book I read by him, and I could have easily read this book in a day. The chapters fly by as we are transported into a world of top-secret black ops and espionage consisting of a group of four women trained in the Delta division of the army under the code name: Athena. These women use their charms, guile, expertise, and skills to defuse a plot to secretly reignite a World War II technology envisioned by the Nazis. This book is a fast paced thriller with intrigue, believable dialogue, and a story worth re-reading. I highly recommend this novel as an intro to the genre of military espionage thrillers.
