This is the second book in the series. I am currently reading the third and final book in the series. I love these books. The story is about a young potter, Jake, who answers an add for a village potter in the town of Niederbipp. He moves to this quaint town and agrees to take the position at least until the end of the summer. He begins to learn about the potter, Isaac, who he replaced after he died. In the process of learning about Isaac, he discovers much about life and himself. There is a sweet love story as well. It is a "feel good" book and causes you to consider life and what is important. There are many references to religion. I am surprised that it is a Young Adult book because I think it is a little slow moving for that age group, but I love them!
