3.5/5 ***
I enjoyed this book. It kinda reminded me of the a mix of Caitlin Kittredge series 'Nocturne City and Black London' . This has a little of everything in it. Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches. I believe that Fae come into play later in the series.
Persephone Alcmedi is a kick-butt main female character. She is a witch but also a friend to the local werewolves. She kennels them on the full moon.
Main problem is that Seph is hired to take out the man who killed her good friend. Things are not what they seem and she gets more then she wants out of the deal
Johnny, alpha male werewolf, sets off all kinds of her internal alarms. He ends up helping Seph solve more then one problem. You can't help but love Johnny. I can't wait to see where things go between them.
*Good enough to continue the series.
*Wish there was a little more... I guess I just felt like it was kinda of watered down. Hence not getting 4 stars.
