I am a huge Mortal Instruments fan. May be one of my all time favorite series. The idea that I could have more Nephilims makes me drool a little. Clare can write one fast paced free for all book. She is not afraid to put anything and everything into a book, stir it up and set back and watch it happen.

That being said there are parts I don't like. I don't like that the Will character is so much like Jace. I don't want to root for Will, he is so rude he puts me off, and I want Jem to be the one. And the breif moments when she follows other characters, and not Tessa, it is very disjointed and feels like it is comeing out of nowhere.

Don't get me wrong, you should read this book. It's steam punk, it's historical fiction, it's automatons, it's angles, it's vampires, it's shape shifters, there's a love triangle. Is there anything else you could want in a book?
