Book 5 in the Mitch Rapp series was a lot of fun, hearkening back to the non-stop action that made the first in the series so compelling. Sneaky terrorists! Nuclear devices! D.C. in jeopardy! (And the wife safe and sound for once... that was a nice change as the damsel-in-distress routine of the previous books has been played out too many times already.) Political squabbling! (Okay... maybe that wasn't as fun.) However, even though Rapp is a badass, he is also really (really!) arrogant and his complete inability to see anyone else's perspective is getting old. It doesn't help that he's always right. After reading five-in-a-row, I think I'm going to take a break. Though I have a feeling I'll be back to read another at some point. I do love me some cheesy spy thrillers!
