** spoiler alert ** This is not a good testimony to a little boy who survived a car accident, but a great testimony to a wonderful, merciful Father who has given this boy miracles. Alex Malarkey would be the first to admit that his story is not about him but about God.
I cannot tell you the amazing impact this has had on my life. My son was recently diagnosed with autism, but Alex's grandfather told his dad that somewhere, somebody would want "this" to be the worst day of their life - somebody always has it worse than you (or I). What an inspiring perspective to keep on life.
I believe God sent this book for me to read. I have a personal relationship with God, Christ is my Savior, I'm a born-again Christian : whatever you want to call it. I know when I pass, I'm going to heaven to be with God. However, the idea of going to an unknown place previously had me just a tiny bit frightened - I know it will be good but what does that mean? What does that look like? Not that I didn't want to go; I just had some fears about what it all would be like. However, reading this boy's account of heaven (at least the parts he could tell) was so relieving - and he didn't even share much about heaven. I think it was just what I needed to read - about the perfection and the other wonderful things he shared about angels and God. Not that I want to go today but when my time comes, I can't wait to go home.
Anyway, this book is full of miracles and interventions and prayer that is beyond our wildest dreams - and it's true! What a remarkable God we serve.

Why did they mark your comments as containing "spoilers" when you said nothing bad about the book or about other people. You used no foul language. Could it be because you shared your faith? How sad if that is the reason.
