This was an excellent adult fantasy. It has magic, creepy characters, and grit. Richard is the type of main character you can really relate to, which made this fantastic story feel real. All of the unique details of the book have stayed with me. The traveling market, the rat speakers, and magical doorways... I just couldn't get enough. I really enjoyed it.

Dawn I love Neil Gaiman. If you've never read American Gods or The Graveyard Book by him you should!

Olivia I really loved this book. I wish he would write more.

Christina White Dawn, I am definately going to check out his other books now!

Dawn I reread Stardust by him a couple months ago. I love that book and the movie isn't too bad either!

David "proud member of Branwen's adventuring party" Personally, I highly recommend "Good Omens", the book Neil Gaiman wrote with humorist Terry Pratchett. While it's mostly for fantasy buffs, the whole thing is very tongue-in-cheek and has a plethora of laugh-out-loud moments.
