Really, I'd give it a 2.5 I mean after all, I did finish it, and it's a fairly hefty-sized title. I never bonded with the characters, they all felt so cliched, as did the storyline. I'm thinking I would have enjoyed this more on a hot beach with a cool drink, perhaps. I felt like I was reading a script for a low-budget movie, maybe even a made-for-TV flick. All it was lacking was for some character to say at the end, "and I would have gotten away with it all, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!!"

So, meh. It did keep me entertained, but did not make me want to read any more of his titles.
