Read from March 30 to 31, 2011

while I really do like this series, I'm not totally obsessed about it. There were 2 or 3 books I really loved in it and the rest were entertaining. I know I will always keep reading the books in it that get release because I do enjoy this series big time. This book was actually better than I thought it would be. Before the previous books I had been having a bad time with this series, but last book was amazing and this one was as well, I read it in less than a day. Sparks is an great author that always makes me laugh, but this just wasn't my fav book in the series.

I loved the Angels & Demons theme more than anything, I think this book was the one with the best plot in the series no doubts what so ever; still I wasn't that sucked up into the relationship between Connor and Marielle. I mean both characters were ok but they never blew me away, I kept expecting more about them. Marielle was even a bit too predictable. I liked them, don't get me wrong, I just think I was expecting more of this books as I love the angels theme so much. Everything was pretty obvious.

I don't wanna spoil it for anybody, just know that more than one mayor event developed in this instalmment and IMHO all really good which makes me dye now to read more. Can't wait to next book.

Ally Isn't this exciting? It is Connor's book and I can't wait! I have been excited to read his story since "Vamps in the City!" What do you think it is going to be about? Will he be paired up with an angel? I have to get caught up with this series before this book comes out too. I haven't read the last two yet.

Lady Valee I really hope angels are involve because I adore books about them so I'm very excited about this one!

Ally I think angels could add a new dynamic and it would be awesome.

Lady Valee Me too! You need to read the ones you still haven't! haha. I have so many books to read right now! I need to finish with the Paladins series so I can start with the fever re-read for once and for all! I have been dying to read it for ages and now I can't because I wanna finish this other series first! I need more time!

Ally I need more time (and energy) to read too. I haven't re-read the Fever books yet either so I am glad that I am not the only one. I know I won't be reading Shadowfever for awhile, but that is okay. I have a five day break coming up in February so that will be the perfect time to do it. I just have to make myself stay away from spoilers until then. LOL!

LethalLovely~I'll Be Your River Wow. The cover for this book is freaking beautiful. I've only read one book by Sparks-& wasn't impressed-but this cover is making me want to give her another try if only to get my hands on this book!

Lady Valee I love the cover too! I have this obsession with angels! Not many books about them. I know I would read this book even if I hadn't read any other in the series before.

Ally I thought the cover was beautiful! I am super excited about it because it will be about the grouchy (and Scottish) vampire Connor. I can't wait to read what is going to be about!!!

Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress I love grouchy heroes!

Ally Danielle...Connor is the hero for you! I can't wait to see what Kerrelyn Sparks is going to do with him. He has played a pretty big part in all of the books and I think his book has been highly anticipated by a lot of fans (including myself). It is about time Connor found love!

Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress I haven't started this series yet, but I've been meaning to do so. Now I have more inspiration.

Ally Danielle...I really like these books (I have to get caught up with the last two) and some are better than others. It is light and fun, but the vampires are very swoon-worthy (if vampires can be that way...LOL)! Kerrelyn Sparks has a great sense of humor and I find myself laughing out loud at a lot of moments in them. I think you would like them and this is one series where I don't think a person would necessarily have to read them in order.

Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress I'm glad to hear that, Ally. I am at the point now, where I am going crazy trying to read all these series in order!

message 14: by Ally (new) - added it

Ally I hear you, Danielle! I feel the same way so it is nice to know some series do not have to be read in order.

Ren Your welcome Vale ;)
I'm curious about this too, and the cover, definitely a keeper!

message 17: by Ren (new) - rated it 4 stars

Ren I think this is the best cover in this series ;)

Have you read the excerpt? If not, you can check at Kerrelyn's web

Lady Valee LOL, I don't like reading excerpts, I never read them because I will always want more...

Ren Me too, but curiosity kill the cat *grin*

Ally Have fun reading this one, Vale! You know how much I love Connor, but I have to read Carlos' book first.

Lady Valee I really did enjoy this one. Let me know when you get to read it Ally. Carlo's book was great, for me even better than this one.

Kathy Great review. I'm looking forward to reading this but with all the amazing books published this week, I didn't get around to buying this one yet.

Ally Vale...I am going to skip your review until I am finished with this book. It looks like you liked it, but maybe didn't love it. Bummer! I have high hopes for Connor's story.

Lady Valee It's a great story, I rated it 4 stars because I don't like this type of books as much as I do others like BDB, psy-changeling, etc. which are more serious. This type of more funny stories are great but not as good to my as those others.

message 26: by Ren (new) - rated it 4 stars

Ren What? You already read it Vale?

S.O J.E.A.L.O.U.S :((

And here I am, waiting and waiting my copy to arrived *sobs*

Lady Valee You must buy an e -reader Ren, best bought I veer did. Now I can read any book in the release day!

message 28: by Ren (new) - rated it 4 stars

Ren I plan to buy e-reader someday, still collect the money ^_^. You know, I'm jobless now, just do a part time job :P..

For book that I loved so much, I always prefer Paperback, and I love secondhand edition too, hehe ^_^

Lady Valee I buy my fav books as well, but kindle saved me a lot of money because I use to buy every book I read. Now I only buy those I loved. Remember there's a kindle for 187 dollars.
