I really enjoyed this romance, I hadn't read an historical one in ages though I often wanted to. So this book was perfect to pull me back into the genre.
I was enthralled by the characters, I fell for them from the first chapters. I particularly liked Margaret's fortitude - her life wasn't exactly a bed of roses.
The plot was absorbing and realistic, Sebastian and Margaret relationship was evolved beautifully.
And if I were Sebastian, I would have killed Giles. Slowly.
