This book was a really good book. Beverly Patt tells a good story of two fourteen year old girls who get separated when Dottie, who is Japanese is sent to an interment camp during world war two. The girls writew back and forth about their lives and how they are all doing. the girls have stuck together through thick or thin and now they face their biggest challenge yet. This book shows hat friendship is key, you can get through anything with friendship.
