I think I've read Clark before as a teenager, but, that's a long time ago. I don't know why I haven't continued. She's an amazing writer! I read this book in hours.

The way she write - dropping hints here and there to make me doubt my choice of suspect - kept me on my toes. Everyone seems guilty and innocent at the same time. Talent as a writer. I have the habit of over-thinking the novels I read and because I did that with this one, I think it became more suspenseful. However, if you don't you might find it predictable.

Her writing is concise and easy to read. I have to read two of her books for the challenge but her style of writing makes me want to read more. Should you read this book? Yes. If you haven't had a chance before, you should.
