This is another chapter in the life of Stephanie Plum, bond enforcement agent extraordinaire (not!)

Stephanie and Lula get themselves into all kinds of trouble again – Lula witnesses a murder and has the murderers chasing her throughout the book, Stephanie loses not one but 3 cars in this book and her flat in bombed again. Ranger has a problem, someone is breaking into houses that are using his company for security so he asks Stephanie to work for him for awhile and at the moment she in off again with Joe Morelli. We do get see him a little but not much.

I wish Janet would put them together permanently, maybe next time? I love Ranger and Morelli and they were as good as always. This story, though, was not the best in the series it is still a good read.
