Flipping Fantastic. Drought was dangerous, severe and left you with enough hope to see some beauty in a world hidden within a world. Is pushes the boundaries of right and wrong. Ruby surpasses any main character I have read recently. She was strong, relentless and brave. She always had a need to do the right thing to show her worth. It's seemed effortlessly to follow after Ruby's character and her journey.

The power of greed is disturbing. Ruby must find her way while protecting the innocent. I want to say I was fooled by the some of the characters in the book. I had been manipulated.

Manipulation is a word I would use if I had to describe Drought. Truth is hard to find when you are shifting through blood and water. I am adding Pam Bachorz to my favorite author list. If any of her future books are even close to how awesome Drought is. I do plan on reading Candor after getting a taste of Bachorz writing. Drought is setting the par for 2011's books. What a great way to start the year.
