I hate to admit, but this was my first Romance book and I liked it. Never was into fiction, then "The girl with a dragon tattoo" came along. Never read Romance Fiction (not that there's Romance Non-Fiction) and I actually enjoyed it.

Set in England in the 1800s, I found it extremely delightful learning of how people used to court. Or at least those who had money. I'm sure chamber maids and footmen just ran off with whomever they wanted, but marriage back then isn't what marriage is today. No romance, pure family transaction.

And stories like this is to kick the old tradition in the face. Marriage or any true love needs romance. True fiction =)
