Oh, this was tasty. Belle Boyd, former Confederate spy and current employee of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, must team up with Captain Croggon Hainey, escaped slave and airship pirate, to prevent mass murder and *ahem* airship theft during an alternate history Civil War that has lasted twenty years.

Although the author has a tendency to tell the reader literally every move the characters make, bogging down the pace just a bit, her world-building is second to none, and her characters are so vivid. Good stuff. With plenty of airship goodness this time around.
