So, this was really a 2 1/2 star for me. The first half of this book was nearly intolerable, but it was lent to me by a friend so I felt obligated to finish it. The characters were nothing more than bad stereotypes, so I never really felt too sympathetic to them. But by the time the story hit its climax, I was sucked into finding out how everything was going to go down. I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't going to read the rest of the series, but this was not my favorite book and I think I may just avoid Nora Roberts in the future.
