** spoiler alert ** I cannot really say why I liked this book more than the ones before. Nothing major changed in comparison to the books before... but nevertheless, I really enjoyed this book and it seemed rather short although it had the same length the others of the series had.
Of course the story, the style, the characters all didn't change BUT we finally get to see some nice scenes with Max and Victoria and although I feel a little sorry for Sebastian (who - by the way - really made me laugh with one of his comments on James), I am glad Victoria decided against him (in a way he was too... Sebastian for my taste). Max is still Max and I am looking forward to reading the final book of the series, looking forward to getting to know how Victoria will change his mind and save him. I am very positive that there will be a happy ending which is a good thing because I am often disappointed about books that end sad after I hoped for 400 pages or so. And that is also exhausting and unsatisfying.
Anyway, I hope I'll enjoy the last book at least as much as this one.
