DO NOT READ. CONTAINS SPOILERS.
Um, yeah. This was a good book. I liked the author's style of writing, and if this wasn't her debut novel I would perhaps read other books for her. The ending wasn't completely satisfying to me, because over the course of the book nothing really happened. Parker didn't get back together with her boyfriend, Raye didn't make any prgress with Ian, and the Prescotts didn't move. All that was revealed is that Paige's life has been actually really imperfect, and there's hope for her future even though she kinda messed it up. You know, I almost don't understand Parker. Why did she break up with him right after he had said "I love you"?
I thought it was kind of interesting how the guy was only referred to as "the ex". The story never revealed his name or initials, and they didn't even give a hint to what he looked like. I guess the author wanted the readers to imagine the ex-boyfriend as how they wanted to, and to invision their own version of the perfect guy.
