This was a wonderfully fun mystery to read. I have a feeling that if our heroine, Flavia de Luce, could cross the ocean from England and travel back about 50 years, she would be fast friends with Calpurnia Tate.

I would definitely read more if there are to be more in the series. My only complaint is that even as a genius 11 year-old there were a few times where I doubted a girl so young would actually be able to come to the deductions she did. One thing that I enjoyed was all the British terms and English countryside setting.
