Fantastic! Even though I'm not a fan of the secret baby, it worked in this case. This is the latest in the Tales of the Borderlands series. This time it's about the pirates who operate in the Borderlands, their struggle to survive, an evil mine owner, the deadly Drakken and their war with the Coalition, and finally, the new peace time, multi-world Triad. The two main characters, Valeeya Blue and Dake Sureblood go through many hardships after their first meeting before they finally meet again and work to unite their people. As a result of their first encounter, Val has a baby but keeps the father's name a secret. Dake has been accused of wrong doing, but then through no fault of his own, cannot return so doesn't know about his child and can't clear his name. I loved the conclusion of the story, where wrongs are righted, lovers and friends are reunited, and families are made whole again.

I don't know what's next for Susan Grant, but it will be an automatic buy for me, I love her books.
