Fast paced, good plot, fun book. Jack Reacher is tough, loner, ex-military investigator. Reminded me of Westerns and the lone cowboy, tough guy, who will get justice done and "ride off into the sunset" with no personal entanglements, ready for the next quest. Women falling at his feet and off course a heart of gold, albeit with an entirely individual sense of justice. It's ok to just knock off the bad guys in any manner necessary.
I did wonder why the bad guys needed James Barr at all. Why not just let Charlie do it? The explanation that the Zec had to control the story was a little lame, I thought, but it really didn't matter - as I said, it is a fun book.
