really liked it
bookshelves: short-stories, award-winners, multicultural, made-me-smarter

There are some short story collections out there where you might not like one of the short stories. I thoroughly enjoyed all of these. Some were about life as an Indian immigrant, life in India, and relationships between Indians in arranged marriages and Indians born and raised in the US. All of them were complex, unique, and interesting. Most were uplifting, but none were depressing. A great collection. No wonder it won the Pulitzer. Well deserved.
