really liked it

A good mystery - solving a multiple homicide at a wealthy man's ranch. However, I saw in the first chapter, I'd have to take notes. So many characters introduced, I had to write down their names and general data in order to keep them straight. The plot was very complicated and well presented overall. However, this is the first book of Kellerman's that I've read and it is not light reading. There is often a lot of detailed description of clothing or environs that isn't really needed(I've got a good imagination) to further the story. The story goes on for so long that the last couple chapters are mostly summary to fill in the outcome. Heavy reading when I was looking for light. Certainly not a mystery that let you solve it in your head before the book was done, but your suspicions were there.
