One of the highly regarded guides on writing, I turn to this book every few years to refresh my writing. What is proscribed isn't the only way to write--clear complexity has its uses--but Strunk and White's advice remains invaluable for any writer. And as with any piece of advice, you should take what you need and leave what you don't want.
