as others mentioned before me, quite a lot of plot holes.. but i don't think i minded overly much, since the pace was set pretty well and it kept me entertained throughout. there are too many times when the main character annoyed me through her ignorance though, so many times she could've done differently to change the outcome of certain situations. i think i'm more accustomed to stronger heroines who make those sacrifices knowing they have to, not because it's fun. her conflict was believable enough, i just wish her character wasn't so shallow. and i respected max for seeing her as she was, and i think he has to be the most appealing love interest out of all three mentioned. (three? yeah, three.) he seems to have very real motives, and he just seems.. a cut more real than the rest of them, victoria included. as much as i like reading about victorian society and vampires, i do not like reading about children. though victoria the character may be grown in body, she most definitely had t...more
