** spoiler alert ** 3.5 stars. Didn't love this as much as the last one, but it's way better then book 6. I was a bit surprised that she brought Lucas in to narrate, but I think it fit that she did. She's definitely integrating the characters more now, and a lot of what happened in this book will have implications for the series as a whole, plot-wise. Really looking forward to seeing what happens with the Cabal now, in particular. Also, I wasn't crazy about Karl, but the Hope-Karl dynamic has really grown on me, so I appreciate him more now. I think I'm just a sucker for hot-blooded werewolves...

I was hoping that wasn't the case. I stopped reading after Broken (initially because I'm not really a fan of Jaime, and the thought of a full book about her didn't interest me) and was hoping I would be able to jump back with the new one instead of going back and reading all the ones in between.
