This is book 2 of the Sea Haven series on the Drake Sisters. It was a pretty good offering.

Kate Drake is a novelist and has come home for Christmas to Sea Haven, she has just bought an old mill that she plans to renovate but there is an earthquate and when she goes up there with her builder Matt Granite to look the place over they find the mill's foundation cracked and reavealling a burial crypt, Kate senses evil and that it's coming after her.

Matt Granite is an ex US Army Ranger who has been in love with Kate since he was 15, he finds himself tongue tied around her and accident prone but he gets over himself to help Kate and her sisters. It takes Kate awhile for her to admit that Matt is the man for her.

This evil brings a very thick fog that has a beastly presence in it and the Drake sisters have got to work out how to get rid of it and give it peace.
