I really love Myla Goldberg's writing. Her books are hard to define and don't seem to easily fit into one category. The False Friend is about an adult women seeking redemption for a childhood memory. The book is about family and how we interact with them, its about the complicated role of friendship and even more its about how cruel young girls can be to each other. How do we, as adults, come to terms with things that we did as children?
