This was a surprisingly engaging read. I was only aware of Tim Russert's work as moderator of Meet the Press (where he is sorely missed.) Tim was a man who appreciated the riches of his family in his life. His stories of growing up and the impact his dad had on his life, his career success and the love he had for his son were made all the more poignant with the knowledge that Tim died suddenly four years later. Next I'm going to read the follow-up book, Wisdom of our Fathers, based on the 60,000 letters Tim received after writing this book.
