This book was well written, the characters well-developed, but all together so depressing that it was hard to trudge through it. It was about a single mom with three kids in a small town in Vermont who gets swindled by a con man. I liked how the story delved into the lives of the other people in the town, but for a 700+ page book, I was sorry to see that more of their stories weren't resolved. Not sure I would recommend.
