...now after a few days refusing to go anywhere unless I had this book with me. It’s over! *tear, tear* And it’s left me with a myriad of emotions:
1. I’m GLAD I can finally get my life back (It’s harder than you would think to read while you eat, walk, dress... or carry on a conversation :/ ),
2. I’m RELIEVED that my hand hasn’t permanently cramped up into the shape of its 1000+ pages -This was a serious concern during the last 400pages!
3. ...but most of all I’m WORRIED. Worried that my book shop doesn’t open early enough for me to get the next book in the series before uni tomorrow (...that is to say I am worried but nothing, not hail nor fire nor brimstone will stop me from getting book 7 tomorrow)

Anyway that’s enough about ‘how’ I couldn’t put this book down. On to the ‘why’...

Forget Rowling, Forget Tolkien, Forget Pratchett. You can’t say you like fantasy until you’ve read Jordan. Truly, he’s a master of the genre.

Actually, forget fantasy, every book should be like this! It’s an amazing story, told incredibly. The first in the series (The Eye of the World) was astounding, but it was not until this one (Lord of Chaos) that Jordan, again, reached the heights of the first book. Whether it was character development or written style I find it difficult to find anything to fault Jordan on.

Also, for anyone who is finding it hard to unearth the motivation to get through the earlier books (though I can’t imagine why. God knows I didn’t! They were glorious!!) all I’ll say is persevere. It gets better. Ohhh so much better!

Ohhh *rub hands together gleefully* Can’t wait. I’m going straight to sleep now so the morning will be here all the quicker. Book 7 here I come!
