An interesting screenplay consisting almost entirely of dialogue. "Before Sunrise" felt very much like a genuine conversation between close friends, the kind you often have when young... You talk about everything and anything. The conversations seem pointless, but the clash of ideas and forced introspection help you discover who you are.

For instance:

“I always think that I’m still this 13-year old boy that doesn’t really know how to be an adult, pretending to live my life, taking notes for when I’ll really have to do it.”

While the setting feels cliche (American boy meets French girl on a train in Europe...), the story is believable.
