it was amazing

I personally loved it. The author has a way of connecting and dragging you into the story and hooking you until the very end. The Lovely Bones deals with grief. That is the theme throughout. All other details are not pertainent, grief and loss are what it's about. I think some of the reviewers missed that. Everything else in the book is not what it's about...I think you have to know or have some inclination of loss before you can read this book to appreciate it. My mother and sister read the book and told me (my sister died before I was born) that it felt like someone took their life and put it in a story, that someone else understood the craziness after a child's, a sibling's, death. I applaud Alice for her writing and the connection she makes to the reader.
