I thought the first book in the Twilight saga was okay. Not great. Definitely overrated. But okay. I disliked the second book more because it completely derailed any work Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice had in the evolution of feminist literature in 500 pages. It sent the message that it was okay for girls to consider suicide because their boyfriends left them- Bella, a strong, independent intellectual young woman, now the most hated female character in literature. Eclipse was the best of the average series with a moderately comprehensible plot (but with a disturbingly overprotective Edward). Now here we arrive to Breaking Dawn, where all I have to say is this, in the form of my first homemade gif:
