3.5 stars. Despite a title that sounds like it's a romance novel, this is the account of Nancy Brook's bike tour through France. A 43-year-old single mother of a college-age daughter, she decides to do something for herself and heads out, reflecting on past relationships and learning a lot about herself along the way. Okay, that's a corny summary, but it was an enjoyable and informative read, including some history of the areas of France that she visited, as well as tips on cycling and quite a bit of wine talk (obviously).
