Mixed feeling about this one. On the one hand it really helped me to realize that sleeping is an essential part of a baby's development and that it needs to be up there in my list of priorities for my baby. It also helped me to find the right and natural sleeping schedule for my little one. On the other hand, I really hated the way that this book made me feel regarding missing naps and not sleeping through the night. I felt like every time I made her miss a nap I was dooming my child to a life of emotional problems and/or hyperactivity. It was not very detailed in how to actually know when your child was ready to sleep through the night, especially since my child had colic for the first few months. The greatest complaint for me though is that the author makes it seem like the crying-it-out method is the only true and tested method for training your child to sleep through the night.
