This was my first Catherine Coulter book. It was recommended to me by my cousin who shares my like of "series." The beginning seemed to jump around alot. I even had trouble following who was speaking and found myself rereading passages just make sure I was clear on who was saying what. Toward the middle this toned down a bit; however it seemed like every time you turned around the main character was in some kind of trouble. It was just a little far fetched to me. I didn't even enjoy the connection with the characters in the romantic parts. I'll continue on with the series as I was told that they get better. I'm hoping.
