After reading the synopsis on the back of this book, I didn't want to read it. I had already fallen inlove with the characters from the first book and it seemed as if things weren't going the way I had hoped....yet I had to know what was happening! I spent months between this book and the Divine by Mistake but finally sucked it up to read about Shannon's (main character)fate. I was surprised once again as I was in the first book. The synopsis was just as it is called...a SYNOPSIS. I was seriously mistaken in the contents. Again I felt drawn to the characters to the point where I even cried at the loss of one of them. (And for the record: I DON'T CRY...I even had dry eyes after The Notebook) Advice for readers: Read the complete series...WORTH IT.
