This is a brilliant and ultimately hilarious and sweet story that kids will love! The illustrations are delightful with cute little labels and messages - using mixed media. The apple trees all have apple based recipes on them. Pig is sick of apples and pig is patient. Pig is an organic farmer. I won't give it away, but it's a very clever story. And it has excellent info in the back about organic farming - from using natural ways to keep pests and weeds away to making your own compost bin.
