Well, I must first put that I am a HUGE fan of the movie (starring Danny Kaye and Virginia Mayo) and so I believe that this is one of those rare instances that the movie is far better than the book. Or should I say that this is more of a 3-page short story (that I'm assuming was written for a newspaper or magazine of some sort). I think it takes a lot of guts to turn a 3-pager into a full-length movie. It also takes, basically, whole new characters and plots. And that's exactly what happened. But over all, for only 3 pages of words (and belive me, that's hard to do. I mean, it may seem all like, "Oh, I only need to write a 3 page story! But by the time you're at that 3rd page you have so many ideas that you need to involve it's not even funny). So... yeah! That's my review!

Angela Kershner I didn't know they made this into a movie! And starring Danny Kaye, nonetheless! I love Danny Kaye, so I'm going to have to see this movie.
