Once done with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo I enjoyed it, but while reading it I wasn't really that engrossed in it. It was a "slow burn" - the story was valid and interesting but not gripping. Thankfully, I found this second installment of the trilogy to be the opposite. I was sucked in pretty much from the get go. Now, it may have helped that I had recently seen the first movie before starting this one so I was reinvested in the characters.

Of course now I'm dying to read the final installment, but the Kindle edition is too steep for me (I'm a completest and like to have things of a series in the same format) and the list at the library is still many, many people long for both the Kindle and print books :-(
